Summer is just around the corner and you really believe it could come this year. <\/p>\n\n

We at the Icelandic Woolmarket & Mill are excited for summer. This is our first summer at the market and we are very grateful for the reception that the Icelandic Woolmarket & Mill has received. It is clear that there was a need for a similar store here in the uplands.<\/p>\n

We are constantly adding new yarn types and specialize in high-quality wool yarn.<\/p>\n\n

When the store opened in November, we began a collaboration with supplier West Yorkshire Spinners<\/a> in the UK and have five wonderfully soft yarns from them. We are adding a sixth new line to their line. Solstice<\/strong> is a blend of wool, Lyocell and Cashmere. It is expected to be in stores in 2 weeks.<\/p>\n\n

We are also starting a partnership with a new supplier from the UK called Blacker Yarns<\/a> . From there we are getting three new yarn types, Samite Silk Blend<\/strong> which is a blend of wool and recycled silk, Bam-Boozle<\/strong> which is a blend of wool and bamboo and Gotland DK<\/strong> which is a 100% wool yarn. The new yarn from Blacker Yarns is expected to be in stores in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n

All of these yarn types are also available in our online store, but seeing is richer than experiencing the story, and there is nothing like hand-scraping this lovely wool yarn.<\/p>\n\n
